During that time of anguish, the Ampersand family stepped in and offered the young countess, then sixteen years of age, refuge and protected estate not in any way knowing of the countess’s hidden fortune.

DANGER DOG & CHUMLEY
Illustrations based on two dogs, Danger Dog a black Labrador Collie cross and Chumley an auburn Red Setter Labrador cross, both from Battersea Dogs Home and owned by the author and his partner during their life in London during the 1980s and 90s.
Life in London for the two dogs was a big happy playground, and as frequent escapees, they were often found larking about on the local streets and parklands getting themselves into all sorts of mischief including jumping in a celebrity swimming pool, meeting the stars of stage and screen and more than one occasion finding themselves in custody at the local police station!
They were a dynamic and inseparable duo in their free-wheeling adventures and not just in the big city always out to the countryside or seaside in old Land Rovers.

OTTO THE CAMEL : MY LIFE UNDER THE STARS
In 2019, Otto was discovered face down in box, a cardboard box in a junk shop in Hastings, a town in East Sussex down by the sea. Two gentlemen by the names of Mead and Biker, that idled many an hour round the junk shops of Hastings, spotted the forlorn Otto and for a mere few bob liberated him as perhaps at the time nothing more than a frippery to their ever growing and eclectic mix of art, film and theatrical curiosities. The rather odd history and consequent un-earthing of Otto in the junk shop, amongst other assorted puppets and children's dolls, was never really known but once liberated however, Otto suddenly burst into life reminiscing fervently about his extra-ordinary career on stage and screen. Astounded messrs. Mead and Biker without hesitation documented Otto's hilarious adventures for everyone to enjoy.
SEXY BAD THINGS - BAKAR ZOMO
